I Will

-I will finish my third book
-I will answer my phone
-I will be dedicated in my yoga practice (this is easy because when you're looking at an hour and a half yoga class vs. an hour and a half of staring down a blank computer screen and becoming hostile and yes, belligerent, yoga pretty much wins, hands down.)
-I will not engage in the practice of eating everything that does not run from me
-I will volunteer
-I will not smoke (just fyi, I haven't partaken since September, which actually was the last time I had a deadline)
-I will try to embrace the concept that going out for drinks could actually mean, say, two drinks and not seven
-I will not obsess about email (this is impossible and basically pointless for me to even comtemplate)
-I will be more zen about Pug Hill reviews than I was about Andy Warhol reviews (i.e. I will not get into bed and cry when some HOOKER from The NY Post says I don't understand plot and calls my protaganist a wench.  Let's all say it together, HOOKER.)
-I will be positive
-I will be open-minded (whether this will actually entail going on second dates with men I found to be gooby the first time around because apparently I may not give everyone a fair chance, I haven't yet decided)
-I will not say bad things about people even if they are funny (again, quite challenging)
-I will move out of my non-dog friendly building
-I will adopt a dog from a shelter
-I will name him/her Berkley (in an ongoing homage of the fine people who make it so I can hang out in my apartment all day with my dog)
-I will be very thankful and feel really lucky for what a great year 2005 turned out to be for me
